The joint is as durable as the hose
The fitting together of the clamp, hose and hose nipple is decisive for the tightness of a hose joint. Kerko masters two of these factors: the manufacture of high-quality clamps and hose nipples. A proficiently performed Kerko joint is as durable as the hose to be joined.

The Kerko clamp is pressed with the hose uniformly throughout againts the hose nipple in the joint. The yield strength of the clamp materials is more then double compared with the conventional materials. The faultiess function of the tightening elements has been tested in laboratory and working conditions.

The durable fastening of the hose to the Kerko hose nipple is based, except on the materials also on the adequate design of the detent pins of the hose nipple, on careful rounding of the edges in order to prevent the hose from taking damage, as well as on the appropriate dimensioning as for the installation.
